In the 23rd minute, Mauricio Dolcet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 24 minutes, Santo Ermano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yacuchirí's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santo Ermano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Danilo Nofre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfredo Faron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yacuchirí's Danilo Nofre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Reynardo in the 33rd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Yacuchirí's goalkeeper Danilo Nofre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Teodor. Felix Teodor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Nofre having to interfere. A hard shot 43 in the game by Felix Teodor from a close distance when the talented Danilo Nofre managed to make a qualified save. Yacuchirí's players were relieved. Danilo Reynardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Danilo Nofre. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Danilo Reynardo ran back to his position shaking his head. Jeremias Silban recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benedicto Caradaro was the one to do the kick off. Godfredo Faron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Danilo Nofre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lorenzo Eskuin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Caradaro in the 63rd minute of play. Lorenzo Eskuin made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Jacinto Isusko sent off a good shot on target. During the 68th minute of the match Jeremias Silban completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jeremias Silban a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Jeremias Silban kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After 70 minutes, Reynaldo Berdaitz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Simpro and the Yacuchirí players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Yacuchirí booed when Simpro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Berdaitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raimundo Gilen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Nofre having to interfere. 76 minutes into the game, Lisandro Iratxo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yacuchirí's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Simpro the free kick. In the 76th match minute, Yacuchirí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Iratxo to maneuver through the defense. Simpro's Godfredo Faron got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benedicto Caradaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Lorenzo Eskuin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danilo Nofre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Teodor in the 84th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Yacuchirí's Benedicto Caradaro got a free kick in the 86th minute. Godfredo Faron struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Danilo Nofre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Simpro. If Danilo Reynardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
