Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leukippos Demarchis started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Cerrillos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Javiar came free, but Atilano Gartzea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anastasio Rudolfo during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anastasio Rudolfo hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Cerrillos AFC's Atilano Gartzea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Javiar in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute Roberto Javiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Gartzea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cerrillos AFC's Anastasio Rudolfo got his second yellow card of the match in the 11th minute. The referee ordered Anastasio Rudolfo off the ground. After 11 played minutes Cerrillos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Rudolfo. The long shot by Lorenzo Tino in the 18th minute really tested Armando Diegotxe's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Armando Diegotxe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Roldan went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Mariano Roldan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cerrillos AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Roldan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Diegotxe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Atilano Gartzea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guaberto Oalo in the 25th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Cerrillos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Oalo came free, but Atilano Gartzea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, MARITO FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Armando Diegotxe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Roldan. Lorenzo Tino charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lorenzo Tino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cleto Elequemedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Diegotxe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Cleto Elequemedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Armando Diegotxe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, David Lizar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cerrillos AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 46 minutes into the game, MARITO FUTBOL CLUB's Roberto Javiar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Atilano Gartzea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guaberto Oalo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Roberto Javiar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Atilano Gartzea was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Atilano Gartzea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Oalo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Roldan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th match minute, Cerrillos AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Pabla to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Atilano Gartzea successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mariano Roldan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roberto Javiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Atilano Gartzea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as MARITO FUTBOL CLUB's Anselmo Duardo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Atilano Gartzea. That made the score 2-4 after 70 minutes of play. Erasmo Remicio kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After 77 played minutes Cerrillos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Leukippos Demarchis. Roberto Javiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th match minute, Cerrillos AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Tino to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the match, Cerrillos AFC's goalkeeper Atilano Gartzea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anselmo Duardo. If Mariano Roldan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of MARITO FUTBOL CLUB booed when Cerrillos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Tino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute Guaberto Oalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Gartzea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, MARITO FUTBOL CLUB's Atilano Gartzea threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Guaberto Oalo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Atilano Gartzea didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 91st minute, which inside left pole to 2-5. If Mariano Roldan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. MARITO FUTBOL CLUB walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
