Miraflores's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arsenal Fc the free kick. In the 40th minute of the match, Laureano Tirso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Romão Peseiro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 43rd minute, Herminio Santiago left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arsenal Fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Romão Peseiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilano Casomiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 60thth minute of the game Braulio Xacintu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arsenal Fc's Romão Peseiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Herminio Santiago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saverio Llorenc having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Miraflores's goalkeeper Saverio Llorenc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domingos Ascencio. Miraflores's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Herminio Santiago scored to the left of an out of position Saverio Llorenc, making the score, 0-4. Domingos Ascencio came free with the goalkeeper in the 79th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Saverio Llorenc could save by the left post. 82 minutes into the match, Domingos Ascencio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Saverio Llorenc. Miraflores's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Domingos Ascencio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Domingos Ascencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saverio Llorenc having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Herminio Santiago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arsenal Fc played a much better game than Miraflores and deserved their victory. The Miraflores players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
