The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marcelino Txerran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Dominix, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Bernabe Loi kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Fernando Gau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Danilo Correia scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cornelio Quintana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vinicio Restu charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vinicio Restu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee gave Calca Futbol Club a penalty, 24 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Luís Vázquez, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of y va el 3ro....'s Cornelio Quintana. 0-2. When Donato Sasso came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Calca Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donato Sasso couldn't finish the play. Luís Vázquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. y va el 3ro....'s Cornelio Quintana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Vázquez in the 31st minute of play. Calca Futbol Club's Donato Sasso got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34thth minute of the game Donato Sasso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but y va el 3ro....'s Cornelio Quintana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 37th minute, Danilo Correia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Calca Futbol Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Cornelio Quintana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Sasso in the 41st minute of play. Donato Sasso struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Cornelio Quintana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calca Futbol Club. In the 44th minute, Feliciano Transito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Calca Futbol Club booed when y va el 3ro.... was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Quin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Calca Futbol Club were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guillermo Dominix to strike the kick off in the second half. Vinicio Restu hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Cornelio Quintana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Sasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julio Savier during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Julio Savier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, y va el 3ro....'s goalkeeper Cornelio Quintana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Vázquez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Sasso in the 66th minute of play forced y va el 3ro....'s goalkeeper Cornelio Quintana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Calca Futbol Club booed when y va el 3ro.... was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Raymon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Ismael Romo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cornelio Quintana. y va el 3ro....'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ismael Romo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Cornelio Quintana didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Calca Futbol Club's Luís Vázquez shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-7 in the ordered_time% minute. Danilo Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Luís Vázquez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cornelio Quintana came out and tried to block the shot, but Luís Vázquez slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 86th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Donato Sasso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cornelio Quintana. That made the score 0-9 in the 89 minute of play. Luís Vázquez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Cornelio Quintana made a huge save.
