A well-hit corner resulted in Adrian Ladio heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 5 minutes, Adrian Ladio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Miraflores and the POMBO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adrian Ladio hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Honorio Caitano in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saverio Llorenc saved Miraflores from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Honorio Caitano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saverio Llorenc was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Honorio Caitano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Breogan in the 14th minute of play forced Miraflores's goalkeeper Saverio Llorenc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of POMBO booed when Miraflores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Ladio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The POMBO fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when POMBO's Honorio Caitano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 22nd minute, Atilano Casomiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Honorio Caitano sped through Miraflores's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Saverio Llorenc. After a rather tough play, POMBO's Honorio Caitano got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 35 minutes into the game, POMBO's Honorio Caitano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Saverio Llorenc made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. A collision led to Miraflores getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Braulio Xacintu hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Miraflores's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Caitano came free, but Saverio Llorenc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute Roque Paz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saverio Llorenc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laureano Tirso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, POMBO's Lucas Frasquito got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Adrian Ladio hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After having played for 58 minutes, Honorio Caitano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. POMBO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorio Caitano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 59 minutes, Atilano Casomiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Miraflores and the POMBO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Atilano Casomiro hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. When POMBO's Honorio Caitano in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Miraflores's goalie prevented a goal. Miraflores's Saverio Llorenc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Miraflores from getting a goal against them. Atilano Casomiro was shown his second yellow card after 67 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Miraflores's Atilano Casomiro got a free kick in the 67th minute. With a little luck, Miraflores's Saverio Llorenc got control of the ball when Honorio Caitano tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 71st minute, Mariano Grosso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Saverio Oskarbi struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Saverio Llorenc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for POMBO. The POMBO fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when POMBO's Honorio Caitano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When POMBO's Honorio Caitano in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Miraflores's goalie prevented a goal. When Mateo Sabino fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Miraflores's protests and gave Mateo Sabino a yellow card for diving instead. Mateo Sabino hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. POMBO made a substitution. Ubaldo Cibran replaced Haroldo Breogan. After 84 played minutes Miraflores got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Sabino. Lino Manex could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Saverio Llorenc made a huge save. When Honorio Caitano came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the POMBO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorio Caitano couldn't finish the play. After 89 minutes, Honorio Caitano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the POMBO and the Miraflores players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 89 played minutes POMBO got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Caitano. The POMBO supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing POMBO would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
