After a rather tough play, Arsenal Fc's Vinicio Lander got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 3rd minute Honorio Caitano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romão Peseiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haroldo Breogan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romão Peseiro having to interfere. In the 19th minute Saverio Oskarbi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romão Peseiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arsenal Fc's Domingos Ascencio got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 31 minutes, Mariano Grosso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the POMBO and the Arsenal Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. 32 minutes into the match, POMBO's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Santiago came free, but Roque Gorka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saverio Oskarbi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romão Peseiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Caitano, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Herminio Santiago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roque Gorka having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Breogan in the 42nd minute of play forced Arsenal Fc's goalkeeper Romão Peseiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Vinicio Lander came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Arsenal Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vinicio Lander couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Herminio Santiago made the kick off in the second half. Mariano Grosso hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Reynaldo Elazar charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reynaldo Elazar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th match minute, POMBO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Elazar to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, POMBO's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Ascencio came free, but Roque Gorka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vinicio Lander might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roque Gorka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vinicio Lander ran back to his position shaking his head. Arsenal Fc's Romão Peseiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Oskarbi in the 60th minute of play. Arsenal Fc were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after POMBO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wilfredo Bieito took the corner. Juan Cabral was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Domingos Ascencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roque Gorka having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Arsenal Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Oskarbi came free, but Romão Peseiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
