Robing Club's Rodrigo Rivas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Pedroso in the 6th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Kurt Björck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Justino Marcones. Sportivo Italiano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kurt Björck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The audience was convinced that Flavio Llope's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Justino Marcones was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Rodrigo Rivas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Pedroso, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After 29 played minutes Sportivo Italiano got a freekick which was hit by Zula Miazga. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Eneas in the 30th minute of play forced Sportivo Italiano's goalkeeper Justino Marcones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justino Marcones showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Eneas in the 32nd minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Lúcio Toscano in the 35th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sportivo Italiano's Jesus Valente. Sebastian Pedroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Rodrigo Rivas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sportivo Italiano's zone, Flavio Llope stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justino Marcones came out of the goal and Flavio Llope tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Robing Club's Rodrigo Rivas got control of the ball when Tomás Rami tried to sneak it across the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Santos Eneas made the kick off in the second half. Rodrigo Rivas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Rami, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes into the game, 胡天俊 recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Justino Marcones. 胡天俊 showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Robing Club's Zacarias Maria suffered a sore thigh after 58 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 58 minutes, Sebastian Pedroso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sportivo Italiano and the Robing Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 59 played minutes Sportivo Italiano got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Pedroso. In the 63rd minute, Kurt Björck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rodrigo Rivas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Pedroso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Tomás Rami sped through Robing Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rodrigo Rivas. 71 minutes into the match, Robing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Dalmau came free, but Rodrigo Rivas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justino Marcones didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Robing Club. Flavio Llope could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Justino Marcones made a huge save. Justino Marcones didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Robing Club. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sportivo Italiano fans cheered their team off the field, for while Robing Club had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
