In the 20th minute, Sportivo Italiano's Sebastian Pedroso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 23 minutes, Jesus Valente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sportivo Italiano and the Gladiators players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aquilino Osmundo came out of the goal and Guaberto Dalmau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Sportivo Italiano getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Jesus Valente hit a great ball. Sebastian Pedroso got his second yellow card in the match during the 78th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 79th match minute, Sportivo Italiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Pedroso to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the match, Jesus Valente notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Gladiators's Aquilino Osmundo. Aquilino Osmundo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If King Suárez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. Apolo Birjaio thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Aquilino Osmundo, a very annoying self made goal in the 95th minute which led to 6-0. There was no doubt that Sportivo Italiano were the better team. Sportivo Italiano's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
