The Alice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serafino Oinaz should have stopped the shot. Alvaro Balesio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute, TotoRACING's Godfredo Cordera ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Serafino Oinaz. Serafino Oinaz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 29 minutes into the match, Alice's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Macario came free, but Serafino Oinaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Godfredo Cordera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Oinaz having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Godfredo Cordera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TotoRACING fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carroll Gentenaar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alvaro Balesio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Nataniel de la Rosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. TotoRACING's Godfredo Cordera got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Carroll Gentenaar came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the TotoRACING fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carroll Gentenaar couldn't finish the play. Serafino Oinaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godfredo Cordera in the 64th minute of play.
