In a very dangerous position, a player in Lipeo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! Lipeo:s Zeledon Figueroa showed great skill when he stopped Anselmo Dodorol:s penalty. 5 minutes into the match, Anselmo Dodorol notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Lipeo's Zeledon Figueroa. Zeledon Figueroa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Anibal Chayo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Justino Rosio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Goito in the 9th minute of play. After 10 minutes, Eustaquio Goito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lipeo and the Los once leones players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 11 played minutes Lipeo got a freekick which was hit by Eustaquio Goito. After 18 minutes, Ildefonso Inguma mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lipeo and the Los once leones players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lipeo's Ildefonso Inguma got a free kick in the 18th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Anselmo Dodorol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los once leones's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Dodorol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeledon Figueroa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Los once leones's Justino Rosio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Goito in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Franciszek Wojtkiewicz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los once leones's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lipeo the free kick. After a rather tough play, Los once leones's Franciszek Wojtkiewicz got a free kick in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Goito in the 23rd minute of play forced Los once leones's goalkeeper Justino Rosio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lipeo's Zeledon Figueroa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Silvino in the 25th minute of play. Los once leones's Anibal Chayo got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lipeo's Zeledon Figueroa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Lipeo from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Franciszek Wojtkiewicz got free with Zeledon Figueroa in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Goito in the 32nd minute of play forced Los once leones's goalkeeper Justino Rosio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeledon Figueroa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Desiderio Silvino showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 34 minute of play. After 37 played minutes Los once leones got a freekick which was hit by Franciszek Wojtkiewicz. 42 minutes into the match, Los once leones's Anibal Chayo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zeledon Figueroa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nunez Guipuzkoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zeledon Figueroa came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Los once leones's Anibal Chayo. But to his dismay, Anibal Chayo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

After some careless play in the Lipeo defense, Anibal Chayo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zeledon Figueroa. The Lipeo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zeledon Figueroa should have stopped the shot. Anibal Chayo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute Franciszek Wojtkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Figueroa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Chayo in the 57th minute of play forced Lipeo's goalkeeper Zeledon Figueroa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Los once leones's Desiderio Silvino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zeledon Figueroa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Los once leones's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anselmo Dodorol in the 62nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Anselmo Dodorol got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zeledon Figueroa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Nunez Guipuzkoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Figueroa having to interfere. Anibal Chayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Zeledon Figueroa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeledon Figueroa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Chayo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Lipeo getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Severo Cebo hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lipeo's zone, Franciszek Wojtkiewicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeledon Figueroa came out of the goal and Franciszek Wojtkiewicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Chayo in the 82nd minute of play forced Lipeo's goalkeeper Zeledon Figueroa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anibal Chayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Figueroa having to interfere. Nunez Guipuzkoa scored 8-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zeledon Figueroa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zeledon Figueroa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anibal Chayo in the 93rd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Lipeo's goal looked a bit too open when Nunez Guipuzkoa came free, but Zeledon Figueroa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los once leones's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
