Silvio Jakes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorio Tartalo having to interfere. In the 45th minute Ricardo Gaufred shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorio Tartalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artemio Chepe hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

With a little luck, Presente F.C's Victorio Tartalo got control of the ball when Ricardo Gaufred tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Eriberto Maldonado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute.
