Club Atletico Talleres's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reynaldo Petrigai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 6 minutes into the game, Reynaldo Petrigai cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Salvador Benitez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 11th minute, Reynaldo Petrigai left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ayapaso fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Salvador Benitez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Xabier in the 14th minute of play. Silvio Jakes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Aurken having to interfere. Honorato Jayviers short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Apolo Aurken to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Reynaldo Petrigai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Salvador Benitez was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Damian Benet charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damian Benet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Honorato Jayvier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute of the match, Silvio Jakes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Apolo Aurken saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 30 minutes into the game, Godfredo Odon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ayapaso's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atletico Talleres the free kick. After 30 played minutes Ayapaso got a freekick which was hit by Godfredo Odon. Apolo Aurken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvio Jakes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 minutes of play, Club Atletico Talleres's Honorato Jayvier made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Apolo Aurken was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Reynaldo Petrigai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ayapaso's supporters rose to their feet, but Reynaldo Petrigai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Salvador Benitez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ubaldo Xabier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Salvador Benitez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Reynaldo Petrigai came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Ayapaso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reynaldo Petrigai couldn't finish the play. Salvador Benitez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Petrigai in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvio Jakes to make the kick off. When Ayapaso's Reynaldo Petrigai in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Atletico Talleres's goalie prevented a goal. Cayetano Paublo struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Salvador Benitez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ayapaso. 57 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Talleres's goalkeeper Salvador Benitez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reynaldo Petrigai. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reynaldo Petrigai in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Salvador Benitez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Talleres's Aureliano Llorenc got a free kick in the 60th minute. A hard shot 61 in the game by Reynaldo Petrigai from a close distance when the talented Salvador Benitez managed to make a qualified save. Club Atletico Talleres's players were relieved. Godfredo Odon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Damian Benet got his second yellow card in the match during the 64th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Damian Benet hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. When Ayapaso's Reynaldo Petrigai in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Atletico Talleres's goalie prevented a goal. Julio Cilio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76thth minute of the game Reynaldo Petrigai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atletico Talleres's Salvador Benitez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After taking down the ball on Ayapaso's corner Godfredo Odon fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Salvador Benitez quite easily take care of the ball. Reynaldo Petrigai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Benitez having to interfere. In the 83rdth minute of the game Reynaldo Petrigai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atletico Talleres's Salvador Benitez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 83 played minutes Club Atletico Talleres got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Jakes. Salvador Benitez made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Reynaldo Petrigai sent off a good shot on target. In the 87th minute, Club Atletico Talleres's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Reynaldo Petrigai fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ayapaso played a much better game than Club Atletico Talleres and deserved their victory. The Club Atletico Talleres players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
