The referee ignored Presente F.C's protests and gave Desiderio Sugar a yellow card for diving instead. Desiderio Sugar kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The Lipeo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Presente F.C were winning 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martin Ekaitz to strike the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Presente F.C's Zeledon Figueroa threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Desiderio Sugar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Severo Cebo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 60 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Lipeo's Severo Cebo got a free kick in the 61st minute. Zeledon Figueroa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Oinaz in the 69th minute of play. Martin Ekaitz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zeledon Figueroa firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 77th play minute Martin Ekaitz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Zeledon Figueroa. 0-6. Lipeo's Eustaquio Goito got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Lipeo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Presente F.C's performance. The match ended with a win for Presente F.C.
