Ivan Telo hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Talleres's zone, Eustaquio Goito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Haimar came out of the goal and Eustaquio Goito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benjamin Txeru charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benjamin Txeru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Club Atletico Talleres's Gabriel Haimar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Txeru in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Talleres's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Txeru came free, but Gabriel Haimar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvio Jakes in the 21st minute of play forced Lipeo's goalkeeper Zeledon Figueroa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Benjamin Txeru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th match minute, Club Atletico Talleres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aureliano Llorenc to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Lipeo's Gabriel Haimar threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Benjamin Txeru, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 30th minute, Benjamin Txeru fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gabriel Haimar, passed just outside the right post. After a rather tough play, Lipeo's Severo Cebo got a free kick in the 31st minute. Benjamin Txeru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Haimar having to interfere. The corner ended in Benjamin Txeru almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Atletico Talleres's Gabriel Haimar did a great save. In the 54thth minute of the game Eustaquio Goito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atletico Talleres's Gabriel Haimar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aureliano Llorenc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Zeledon Figueroa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeledon Figueroa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Llorenc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zeledon Figueroa made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Silvio Jakes sent off a good shot on target. Gabriel Haimar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjamin Txeru's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Club Atletico Talleres's Gabriel Haimar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Raitin in the 71st minute of play. Gabriel Haimar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Goito in the 79th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Eustaquio Goito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabriel Haimar was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Talleres's Leopoldo Cibran got a free kick in the 81st minute.
