Wilfredo Guter was slow to take the kick. During this time Atlético VPueyrredón's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Atlético VPueyrredón's Wilfredo Guter to fire away a dangerous shot which Amado Txilar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Atlético VPueyrredón fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Atlético VPueyrredón's Freddy Quinton looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 33 minutes into the game, Freddy Quinton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Amado Txilar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Freddy Quinton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amado Txilar came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético VPueyrredón's Freddy Quinton. But to his dismay, Freddy Quinton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tandil fútbol club's goalkeeper Amado Txilar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 44th minute Atlético VPueyrredón were awarded a corner. Wilfredo Guter went to the cornerflag to take it. If Freddy Quinton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Atlético VPueyrredón were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Freddy Quinton made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Tandil fútbol club's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Quinton came free, but Amado Txilar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danilo Markel hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Freddy Quinton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59 minutes of play, Atlético VPueyrredón's Leopoldo Francesco made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amado Txilar was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Tandil fútbol club booed when Atlético VPueyrredón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Lidon didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Miklós Győrffy came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Tandil fútbol club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miklós Győrffy couldn't finish the play. Freddy Quinton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Amado Txilar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leopoldo Francesco struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Amado Txilar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético VPueyrredón. After some careless play in the Tandil fútbol club defense, Leopoldo Francesco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amado Txilar. The Tandil fútbol club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amado Txilar should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Atlético VPueyrredón getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Rodrigo Lidon hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, Leopoldo Francesco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Atlético VPueyrredón left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tandil fútbol club.
