The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Esteban Ferman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amado Txilar was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. The supporters of Velez booed when Tandil fútbol club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernan Hegoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Gonçalo Bittencourt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amado Txilar. Tandil fútbol club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gonçalo Bittencourt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonçalo Bittencourt in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amado Txilar saved Tandil fútbol club from getting behind. In the 15thth minute of the game Esteban Ferman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tandil fútbol club's Amado Txilar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Esteban Ferman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Amado Txilar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 25 minutes of play, Velez's Esteban Ferman made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amado Txilar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Amado Txilar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Ferman in the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Ferman in the 28th minute of play forced Tandil fútbol club's goalkeeper Amado Txilar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32ndth minute of the game Gonçalo Bittencourt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tandil fútbol club's Amado Txilar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amado Txilar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Esteban Ferman's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Venancio Caton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Velez were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Esteban Ferman made the kick off in the second half. Amado Txilar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonçalo Bittencourt in the 54th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Esteban Ferman notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Tandil fútbol club's Amado Txilar. Amado Txilar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Amado Txilar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonçalo Bittencourt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Esteban Ferman sped through Tandil fútbol club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Amado Txilar. In the last second Amado Txilar throw himself and got hold of the ball when Gonçalo Bittencourt in the 68thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 72 played minutes Tandil fútbol club got a freekick which was hit by Miklós Győrffy. Amado Txilar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Esteban Ferman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 74 minute of play. Amado Txilar made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Esteban Ferman sent off a good shot on target. Esteban Ferman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Amado Txilar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The Velez fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Velez's Esteban Ferman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Tandil fútbol club's zone, Gonçalo Bittencourt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amado Txilar came out of the goal and Gonçalo Bittencourt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tandil fútbol club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Esteban Ferman scored to the left of an out of position Amado Txilar, making the score, 0-11. Gonçalo Bittencourt did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-12 to the left of a surprised Amado Txilar 89 minutes into the match. In the 92nd play minute Esteban Ferman came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Amado Txilar. 0-13. If Gonçalo Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the final whistle sounded Velez left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tandil fútbol club.
