But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Astor Sasoin couldn't finish the play. Toni Mačković charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Toni Mačković the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gualterio Peio might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saturnino Mikolas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gualterio Peio ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Sanagasta AFC's Toni Mačković got a free kick in the 20th minute. CHACO AFC's Saturnino Mikolas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Sugar in the 41st minute of play. Saturnino Mikolas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Peio, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Astor Sasoin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Luciano Fliz made a huge save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Sugar made a kick off. After 52 played minutes CHACO AFC got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Cedro. In the 54th minute of the match Candido Aztore sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Saturnino Mikolas skillfully saved the ball. Saturnino Mikolas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Sugar in the 59th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Astor Sasoin in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luciano Fliz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luciano Fliz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Astor Sasoin, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 86th minute, Gualterio Peio made a precise shot to the right of Saturnino Mikolas. CHACO AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Pascual Cedro was shown his second yellow card after 89 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Pascual Cedro kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Saturnino Mikolas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gualterio Peio went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Sanagasta AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
