RN5's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Libertarios Futbol Club the free kick. The referee ignored RN5's protests and gave Kostas Lagidis a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, RN5's Kostas Lagidis got a free kick in the 23rd minute. With a little luck, RN5's Telo Abalos got control of the ball when Joaquin Cruz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Filomeno Oskarbi hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adolfo Perrando was the one to do the kick off. RN5's Prudencio Bingen was substituted for Benedicto Gustau. The audience was convinced that Adolfo Perrando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Telo Abalos was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Oscar Iban recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 97th minute Adolfo Perrando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telo Abalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Libertarios Futbol Club had played much better football throughout.
