In the 32nd minute, Fausto Natanael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute of the match, Faustino Brun tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but William Sénéchal saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 37 minutes of play, Caballito's Fausto Natanael made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luciano Cordarryl was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cipriano Distiratsu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 59 minute of play. Severo Iturri might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over William Sénéchal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severo Iturri ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Caballito's goalkeeper William Sénéchal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 70th minute Severo Iturri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Sénéchal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boca Juniors's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Faustino Brun in the 73rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Faustino Brun got away a dangerous shot. Despite this William Sénéchal quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Caballito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Moise didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luciano Cordarryl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gică Hagi in the 80th minute of play. When Marcial Olo fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boca Juniors's protests and gave Marcial Olo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th minute, Anselmo Felipillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boca Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. 92 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Gică Hagi came free, but Luciano Cordarryl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Raul Tristan hit a great ball. The Boca Juniors fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Caballito were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
