The referee ignored Libertarios Futbol Club's protests and gave Pedro Izotz a yellow card for diving instead. Artemio Argoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robustiano Chorache having to interfere. Boca Juniors were furious when Santos Olivar was red carded, 41 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adolfo Perrando made a kick off. Luciano Cordarryl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Perrando in the 52nd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Robustiano Chorache successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Boca Juniors made a substitution. Raul Tristan replaced Artemio Argoitz. After 59 played minutes Libertarios Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Afonso. When Elias Orlanda fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Adolfo Perrando put it in 1-7 from a short distance just to the right of Luciano Cordarryl. Boca Juniors made a substitution. Santo Inautzi replaced Gilberto Dolfos. 73 minutes into the match, Severo Iturri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robustiano Chorache. Libertarios Futbol Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severo Iturri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-8. Boca Juniors's Ignacio Palos was substituted for Saul Joanes. Severo Iturri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Robustiano Chorache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Faustino Brun kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Robustiano Chorache. That made the score 1-9 in the 82 minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Mauricio Afonso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Libertarios Futbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boca Juniors the free kick. A collision led to Libertarios Futbol Club getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Mauricio Afonso hit a great ball. When Boca Juniors's Anselmo Felipillo in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Libertarios Futbol Club's goalie prevented a goal. 92 minutes into the game, Anselmo Felipillo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Robustiano Chorache. Anselmo Felipillo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-10.
