When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adolfo Sabin made a kick off. The supporters of RN5 booed when Mazán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinicio Miro didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ernesto Ekialde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 76thth minute of the game Adolfo Sabin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mazán's Nemesio Constancio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. RN5's Adilson Andrade was substituted for Ernesto Ekialde. A collision led to RN5 getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Benedicto Gustau hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the match, RN5's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Arnau came free, but Telo Abalos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
