Sanagasta AFC's Candido Aztore was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Luciano Cordarryl in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 34th match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Joanes to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Luciano Fliz managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Boca Juniors's Anselmo Felipillo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Luciano Fliz was a little too slow when Severo Iturri got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 44th minute, Gualterio Peio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Joel Sugar made the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Anselmo Felipillo sped through Sanagasta AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luciano Fliz. 58 minutes into the match, Faustino Brun notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Sanagasta AFC's Luciano Fliz. Luciano Fliz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
