In the 9th minute Luisito Perrando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Lordi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Golden Dragon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Argi came free, but Bambang Sagala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 16 minutes, Celso Rayman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golden Dragon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celso Rayman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute of the match, Desiderio Etor tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jairo Lordi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 25th minute Ovidio Argi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bambang Sagala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matias Maidana kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Luisito Perrando kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jairo Lordi. That made the score 5-0 in the 36 minute of play. Jairo Lordi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustavo Aznar in the 40th minute. If Celso Rayman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Ederono in the 45th minute of play forced Golden Dragon FC's goalkeeper Bambang Sagala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Golden Dragon FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Leonardo Alfonso hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aureliano Ederono to make the kick off. Jairo Lordi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Aznar in the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Perrando in the 55th minute of play forced Tumbaya 1966 FC's goalkeeper Jairo Lordi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Golden Dragon FC's Desiderio Etor in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tumbaya 1966 FC's goalie prevented a goal. 60 minutes into the match, Gustavo Aznar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jairo Lordi. Tumbaya 1966 FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustavo Aznar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. When Leonides Horado fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Golden Dragon FC's protests and gave Leonides Horado a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd match minute, Golden Dragon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Horado to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the match, Tumbaya 1966 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Aznar came free, but Jairo Lordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Luisito Perrando notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Tumbaya 1966 FC's Jairo Lordi. Jairo Lordi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jairo Lordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Perrando in the 72nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tumbaya 1966 FC's zone, Gustavo Aznar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Lordi came out of the goal and Gustavo Aznar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes into the match, Golden Dragon FC's Gustavo Aznar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jairo Lordi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Golden Dragon FC's Bambang Sagala proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Golden Dragon FC from getting a goal against them. 79 minutes into the match, Tumbaya 1966 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luisito Perrando came free, but Jairo Lordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jairo Lordi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisito Perrando, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tumbaya 1966 FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Desiderio Etor was slow to take the kick. During this time Golden Dragon FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Golden Dragon FC's Celso Rayman getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When the referee ended the match the Golden Dragon FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
