The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of De Boedo Vengo booed when La gloriosa número 6 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Ilixo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karsten Jersov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Marino in the 5th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Uriel Silban's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karsten Jersov was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Marco Ilixo hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, Uriel Silban notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of La gloriosa número 6's Karsten Jersov. Karsten Jersov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 12 minutes, Uriel Silban made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. In the 15th match minute, La gloriosa número 6 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Ur to maneuver through the defense. When De Boedo Vengo's Uriel Silban in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karsten Jersov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karsten Jersov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uriel Silban in the 32nd minute of the match. Horacio Marino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Uriel Silban sped through La gloriosa número 6's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Karsten Jersov. Emilio Ganix kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Karsten Jersov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Uriel Silban's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. During the 47th minute of the match Pablo Ur completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Pablo Ur a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 48 played minutes La gloriosa número 6 got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Ur. After the first half De Boedo Vengo were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Uriel Silban could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Karsten Jersov made a huge save. Gilberto Elija sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karsten Jersov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Marino, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. A collision led to La gloriosa número 6 getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Nicanor Salvadore hit a great ball. In the 61st minute, De Boedo Vengo's Horacio Marino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. In the 65th minute of the game Americo Maxin made a throw-in which Maximiliano Ubarna played forward. Uriel Silban who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Karsten Jersov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in La gloriosa número 6's zone, Uriel Silban stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karsten Jersov came out of the goal and Uriel Silban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute, Uriel Silban got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pascual Eguerdi charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pascual Eguerdi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pascual Eguerdi hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the game, one of La gloriosa número 6:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Americo Maxin got a throw-in 80 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Maximiliano Ubarna. De Boedo Vengo's Pascual Eguerdi got his second yellow card of the match in the 81st minute. The referee ordered Pascual Eguerdi off the ground. In the 82nd match minute, De Boedo Vengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Eguerdi to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Americo Maxin in the 84th minute of play forced La gloriosa número 6's goalkeeper Karsten Jersov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Horacio Marino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karsten Jersov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karsten Jersov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Uriel Silban in the 91st minute. Karsten Jersov made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Horacio Marino sent off a good shot on target. La gloriosa número 6's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Americo Maxin scored to the left of an out of position Karsten Jersov, making the score, 0-7. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Americo Maxin managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Boedo Vengo's supporters rose to their feet, but Americo Maxin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karsten Jersov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
