In the 13th match minute, LOS PIBES DEL BARRIO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Crispo to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th match minute, De Boedo Vengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Eguerdi to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind De Boedo Vengo's goalkeeper Isidro Bento, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rd match minute, De Boedo Vengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horacio Marino to maneuver through the defense. Horacio Marino hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, LOS PIBES DEL BARRIO's Gregorio Iigo got a free kick in the 27th minute. After having played for 37 minutes, Uriel Silban managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Boedo Vengo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uriel Silban was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulino Joanes made a kick off. Hipolito Maxin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Marino in the 61st minute of play. After 68 played minutes De Boedo Vengo got a freekick which was hit by Delmiro Xabat. Gregorio Iigo made in the 72nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by De Boedo Vengo's Horacio Marino. Horacio Marino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Hipolito Maxin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Americo Maxin during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to De Boedo Vengo getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Americo Maxin hit a great ball. Hipolito Maxin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Silban, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Uriel Silban managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Boedo Vengo's supporters rose to their feet, but Uriel Silban was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hipolito Maxin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Pascual Eguerdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidro Bento didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulino Joanes went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The LOS PIBES DEL BARRIO supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing LOS PIBES DEL BARRIO would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
