When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Jamie Leemans put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jairo Lordi. In the 12th match minute, Tumbaya 1966 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Llorienzo to maneuver through the defense. Tumbaya 1966 FC's Edgard Llorienzo got his second yellow card of the match in the 13th minute. Jairo Lordi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 38 minutes of play, Mojotoro AFC's Filiberto Cordarrell made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jairo Lordi was left in no man's land by his defense there! 龙正树's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jairo Lordi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. After the first half Mojotoro AFC were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ovidio Argi was the one to do the kick off. Tumbaya 1966 FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when 龙正树 scored to the left of an out of position Jairo Lordi, making the score, 0-8. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tumbaya 1966 FC's goalkeeper Jairo Lordi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jairo Lordi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Porfiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After a rather tough play, Tumbaya 1966 FC's Ovidio Argi got a free kick in the 81st minute.
