The shot was stopped by Xie Ning Jun but with some difficulty. In the 26th minute Emiliano Umbruso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Hanot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Rameriz in the 28th minute of play forced Club Pumas Serranos FC's goalkeeper Xie Ning Jun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th match minute, Club Pumas Serranos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustacio Tolino to maneuver through the defense. After 41 played minutes Club Pumas Serranos FC got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Bastiaro. After a rather tough play, DON RAMON 72's Feliciano Cordarin got a free kick in the 43rd minute. If Alfredo Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Cayetano Estevez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rod Stewart stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of DON RAMON 72 booed when Club Pumas Serranos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Umbruso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fidel Didier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Delmar Hanot having to make a save. Xie Ning Jun came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by DON RAMON 72's Rod Stewart. But to his dismay, Rod Stewart quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The Club Pumas Serranos FC fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Club Pumas Serranos FC's Fidel Didier looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fidel Didier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Delmar Hanot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute Club Pumas Serranos FC were awarded a corner. Roberto Trotta went to the cornerflag to take it. Roberto Trotta made a great header on Club Pumas Serranos FC's corner, it was just that DON RAMON 72's Delmar Hanot managed to reach the ball for a save. Delmar Hanot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aríel Etchegaray in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Club Pumas Serranos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Rameriz came free, but Xie Ning Jun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Club Pumas Serranos FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Arnaldo Cai hit a great ball. 98 minutes into the match, DON RAMON 72's goalkeeper Delmar Hanot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fidel Didier. The Club Pumas Serranos FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
