DON RAMON 72's Rod Stewart got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Camilo Mambru to strike the kick off in the second half. Rodrigo Marino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cayetano Estevez went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. If Rod Stewart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chesterfield's Rodrigo Marino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rod Stewart in the 59th minute of play. Rodrigo Marino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Chesterfield's goalkeeper Rodrigo Marino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvano Harkaitz. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rod Stewart in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodrigo Marino saved Chesterfield from getting behind. In the 81st minute, Rod Stewart got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Rod Stewart managed to get in a good position for a shot. DON RAMON 72's supporters rose to their feet, but Rod Stewart was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Marino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
