Efrain Corderro's late challenge caught a Islas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Efrain Corderro helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Islas FC booed when La sexta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Corderro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaspar Cordaryal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. When Benedicto Tonete came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Islas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedicto Tonete couldn't finish the play. After having played for 59 minutes, Gaspar Cordaryal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La sexta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaspar Cordaryal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, La sexta's goal looked a bit too open when Eustacio Inko came free, but Tomasz Lagiewniki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
