The supporters of Areco Juniors booed when Barderos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Guerrero didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucjan Ciborek in the 5th minute of play forced Barderos FC's goalkeeper Remigio Savion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Areco Juniors's goalkeeper Stamatis Kalabokis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cosme Chesus. If Fermin Etxeberri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ismael Rencio fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Areco Juniors's protests and gave Ismael Rencio a yellow card for diving instead. Ismael Rencio kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Federico Gismondi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Stamatis Kalabokis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stamatis Kalabokis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Esdras in the 22nd minute of the match. Uno Cero charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Uno Cero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Remigio Savion didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fermin Etxeberri went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Fermin Etxeberri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Remigio Savion was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Remigio Savion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucjan Ciborek in the 29th minute of play. Remigio Savion didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucjan Ciborek went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 43rd minute, Wilfredo Guerrero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Areco Juniors's Ronald Nataprawira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remigio Savion narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cosme Chesus to make the kick off. Cosme Chesus kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute, Fermin Etxeberri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Areco Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 56th minute, Polat Kücük got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Isaac Esdras had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stamatis Kalabokis. Areco Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isaac Esdras was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Stamatis Kalabokis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Chesus in the 62nd minute of play. Lucjan Ciborek struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Remigio Savion didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Areco Juniors. In the 70th minute, Lucjan Ciborek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Areco Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. When Ronald Nataprawira came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Areco Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronald Nataprawira couldn't finish the play. Fermin Etxeberri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Savion having to interfere. If Lucjan Ciborek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 93 minutes, Lucjan Ciborek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Areco Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucjan Ciborek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lucjan Ciborek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Remigio Savion made a huge save. Stamatis Kalabokis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cosme Chesus went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-6 was the resulting score.
