The supporters of Areco Juniors booed when Yacanto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Luar didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucjan Ciborek got free with Jeronimo Amato in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 17 minutes, Carolo Panpili mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yacanto FC and the Areco Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. Uno Cero's late challenge caught a Yacanto FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After some careless play in the Areco Juniors defense, German Luar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stamatis Kalabokis. The Areco Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stamatis Kalabokis should have stopped the shot.
