Spectators: 7444 (Terracing: 5584, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 148) Cosme Chesus started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, La Escaloneta FC's Rodrigo Ostadar got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After 3 played minutes Barderos FC got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Esdras. Isaac Esdras struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Artemio Montrell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barderos FC. After a defensive mix-up in La Escaloneta FC's zone, Cosme Chesus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artemio Montrell came out of the goal and Cosme Chesus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eliseo Rey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Artemio Montrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute Placido Luzea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Savion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remigio Savion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Luzea in the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, Barderos FC's Cosme Chesus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Artemio Montrell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 23rd minute, Cosme Chesus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barderos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Remigio Savion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Placido Luzea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Escaloneta FC's goalkeeper Artemio Montrell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Patricio Izotz hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After having played for 38 minutes, Federico Gismondi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barderos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Federico Gismondi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 40 minutes into the match, La Escaloneta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Esdras came free, but Artemio Montrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Cosme Chesus reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Artemio Montrell. The goal made the score 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Placido Luzea to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes La Escaloneta FC got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Izotz. Eliseo Rey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Federico Gismondi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Artemio Montrell having to make a save. After some careless play in the La Escaloneta FC defense, Federico Gismondi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artemio Montrell. The La Escaloneta FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artemio Montrell should have stopped the shot. In the 67th minute, Federico Gismondi made a precise shot to the right of Artemio Montrell. La Escaloneta FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Remigio Savion made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Honorato Soter sent off a good shot on target. Barderos FC's Remigio Savion proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Barderos FC from getting a goal against them. 77 minutes into the game, Barderos FC's Cosme Chesus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Artemio Montrell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Federico Gismondi struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Artemio Montrell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barderos FC. If Placido Luzea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Eliseo Rey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. La Escaloneta FC's Artemio Montrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Rey in the 86th minute of play. Patricio Izotz got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to La Escaloneta FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Patricio Izotz hit a great ball. Artemio Montrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Gismondi in the 89th minute of play. When Barderos FC's Cosme Chesus in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Escaloneta FC's goalie prevented a goal. Barderos FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
