In the 9th minute, Ceferino Ezkerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fermin Etxeberri got free with Filiberto Satordi in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Fermin Etxeberri took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Filiberto Satordi to make any attempt to save it. Fermin Etxeberri might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filiberto Satordi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fermin Etxeberri ran back to his position shaking his head. Lucjan Ciborek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Belgrano AFC's Filiberto Satordi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Belgrano AFC from getting a goal against them. Filiberto Satordi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucjan Ciborek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fermin Etxeberri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basilio Ruisko couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute, Areco Juniors's Polat Kücük ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Filiberto Satordi. Filiberto Satordi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Ronald Nataprawira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 46 minutes into the match, Polat Kücük dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Filiberto Satordi, 5-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Lucjan Ciborek made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Hermengildo Jacob hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute, Fermin Etxeberri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Areco Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Filiberto Satordi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Uno Cero went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Lucjan Ciborek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 68th minute Basilio Ruisko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Satordi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Areco Juniors's Fermin Etxeberri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filiberto Satordi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. In the 77th minute, Fermin Etxeberri made a precise shot to the right of Filiberto Satordi. Belgrano AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. 80 minutes into the game, Areco Juniors's Lucjan Ciborek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filiberto Satordi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. Ronald Nataprawira scored 12-0 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filiberto Satordi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 13-0 when Fermin Etxeberri sped through Belgrano AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Filiberto Satordi. Hermengildo Jacob's late challenge caught a Areco Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hermengildo Jacob helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Polat Kücük managed to get in a good position for a shot. Areco Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Polat Kücük was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filiberto Satordi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Uno Cero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Areco Juniors players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
