Lucio Emenon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rolando Chesus charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rolando Chesus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th minute, Rolando Chesus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucio Emenon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basilio Ruisko in the 14th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santiago Berenguer in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stamatis Kalabokis saved Areco Juniors from getting behind. A collision led to Calvo getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Rolando Chesus hit a great ball. Stamatis Kalabokis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Berenguer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agustin Cebrian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Areco Juniors getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Lucjan Ciborek hit a great ball. The supporters of Areco Juniors booed when Calvo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Txerran didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Areco Juniors's goalkeeper Stamatis Kalabokis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tobias Txerran. 41 minutes into the game, Benito Sidro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stamatis Kalabokis. Benito Sidro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Etxeberri in the 46th minute of play forced Calvo's goalkeeper Lucio Emenon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

After some careless play in the Calvo defense, Fermin Etxeberri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucio Emenon. The Calvo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucio Emenon should have stopped the shot. Lucio Emenon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucjan Ciborek in the 58th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Areco Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Cebrian came free, but Stamatis Kalabokis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ignacy Latocha took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stamatis Kalabokis. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fermin Etxeberri got free with Lucio Emenon in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elpidio Cucao kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the game, Polat Kücük recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lucio Emenon. Polat Kücük showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. 74 minutes into the match, Areco Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Cebrian came free, but Stamatis Kalabokis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Areco Juniors booed when Calvo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Sidro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronald Nataprawira's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. Lucio Emenon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basilio Ruisko, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 94 minutes into the game, Fermin Etxeberri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Lucio Emenon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Areco Juniors's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
