The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of Asamblea:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of 9.12.18:s goal. Aquiles Ibon shot the penalty kick right outside the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Santiago in the 25th minute of play forced Asamblea's goalkeeper Mario Hitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Mateo Santiago took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Mario Hitz to make any attempt to save it. Primitivo Geofredo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Mario Hitz made a huge save. In the 44th minute, Tommy Clegg made a precise shot to the right of Raimundo Eleder. 9.12.18's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Danilo Telo might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raimundo Eleder. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Danilo Telo ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Mateo Santiago made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Genaro Salomon in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raimundo Eleder saved 9.12.18 from getting behind. Raimundo Eleder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Telo in the 57th minute of play. 9.12.18's Raimundo Eleder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save 9.12.18 from getting a goal against them. Mario Odon scored 1-2 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raimundo Eleder, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tommy Clegg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Raimundo Eleder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in 9.12.18's zone, Genaro Salomon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimundo Eleder came out of the goal and Genaro Salomon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 75 minutes into the match, 9.12.18's goalkeeper Raimundo Eleder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Odon. Genaro Salomon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Eleder having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Tommy Clegg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Raimundo Eleder. That made the score 1-3 in the 83 minute of play. Mario Odon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raimundo Eleder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Tommy Clegg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tommy Clegg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Eleder having to interfere. Mario Hitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Selmo, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 96th minute, Mario Odon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
