Spectators: 7518 (Terracing: 5638, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Buster Arildtoft started the match with the kick off. Higinio Edorta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Bernat, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute, Zacarias Lapurdi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Higinio Edorta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 12th minute Zacarias Lapurdi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Edorta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Higinio Edorta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Buster Arildtoft went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Rumi FC's zone, Baldomero Ireno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonides Gervaso came out of the goal and Baldomero Ireno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zacarias Lapurdi hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. A collision led to Rumi FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Zacarias Lapurdi hit a great ball. After 27 minutes, Severino Bernat made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Guernica's Higinio Edorta tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gilberto Charro's late challenge caught a Rumi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilberto Charro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th match minute, Guernica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Charro to maneuver through the defense. Higinio Edorta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andres Panpili went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Buster Arildtoft sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guernica's Higinio Edorta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Bernat in the 40th minute of play. Higinio Edorta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Buster Arildtoft, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Buster Arildtoft took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Higinio Edorta. Higinio Edorta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Disappointed in the 0-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, Higinio Edorta successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 52nd minute, Andres Panpili ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Higinio Edorta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. An unexpectedly hard shot by Buster Arildtoft in the 56th minute of play forced Guernica's goalkeeper Higinio Edorta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Guernica defense, Zacarias Lapurdi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Higinio Edorta. The Guernica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Higinio Edorta should have stopped the shot. In the 70th minute Armando Veronica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Edorta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rumi FC's Zacarias Lapurdi got a free kick in the 71st minute. Higinio Edorta made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Zacarias Lapurdi sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute, Zacarias Lapurdi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Buster Arildtoft received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Higinio Edorta came out and tried to block the shot, but Buster Arildtoft slotted it home off the left post making it 0-12 in the 78th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Guernica's zone, Arthur Bastos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Higinio Edorta came out of the goal and Arthur Bastos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guernica's Higinio Edorta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Guernica from getting a goal against them. After having played for 84 minutes, Zacarias Lapurdi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rumi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zacarias Lapurdi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Higinio Edorta made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Severino Bernat sent off a good shot on target. Higinio Edorta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Buster Arildtoft in the 86th minute of the match. Higinio Edorta was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Andres Panpili showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-13 in the 89 minute of play. Rumi FC's Jacinto Balasi was substituted for Arthur Bastos. The Guernica fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rumi FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
