Asamblea's Feliberto Hibai got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Higinio Edorta didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 19th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Higinio Edorta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genaro Salomon in the 22nd minute of play. In the 46th minute, Genaro Salomon reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Higinio Edorta. The goal made the score 4-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Genaro Salomon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Danilo Telo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Higinio Edorta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Salomon, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Asamblea's Mario Hitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomero Ireno in the 54th minute of play. Higinio Edorta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliberto Hibai in the 85th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Tommy Clegg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Asamblea fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-1. Higinio Edorta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feliberto Hibai's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. 93 minutes into the match, Guernica's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Salomon came free, but Higinio Edorta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guernica's Higinio Edorta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Odon in the 95th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Asamblea had played much better football throughout.
