MALUGANI F.C.'s Ruperto Urtun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejo Maxin in the 29th minute of play. In the 35th minute Nicanor Cordaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Urtun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicanor Cordaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ruperto Urtun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Cordaro in the 44th minute of play forced MALUGANI F.C.'s goalkeeper Ruperto Urtun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicanor Cordaro made a kick off. In the 54th minute Alejo Maxin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Urtun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicanor Cordaro in the 56th managed to get into a good position. In the 58th minute, Ferneteros FC's Nicanor Cordaro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ruperto Urtun. In the 66th minute of the match, Benito Quintun got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ruperto Urtun was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 68th minute, Alejo Maxin made a precise shot to the right of Ruperto Urtun. MALUGANI F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. Ruperto Urtun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicanor Cordaro's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pablo Kauldi got free with Ruperto Urtun in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gaston Ixidor hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Ruperto Urtun made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Benito Quintun sent off a good shot on target. 85 minutes into the match, MALUGANI F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Maxin came free, but Ruperto Urtun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Ferneteros FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than MALUGANI F.C. throughout the match.
