Lisandro Laurentzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th match minute, Defensa y justicia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Handi to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Gaur in the 21st minute of play forced Defensa y justicia's goalkeeper Anier Paez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zhou Shi Yao to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Sijes's Zhou Shi Yao dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. If Zhou Shi Yao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sijes made a substitution. Ubaldo Kaiet replaced Arnoldo Elazar. In the 61st minute, Candido Asteri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Gaur got free with Anier Paez in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ruperto Pereyra's late challenge caught a Sijes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruperto Pereyra helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Defensa y justicia's Ruperto Pereyra got a free kick in the 64th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sijes walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
