With a little luck, Tapalquén AFC's Martin Tancredo got control of the ball when Carlos Aguiar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tapalquén AFC's Honorato Peter got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Tapalquén AFC's Martin Tancredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Aguiar in the 4th minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Tapalquén AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Velasco came free, but Martin Tancredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Carlos Aguiar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Martin Tancredo. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Honorato Peter kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, F.C Barbarians's Siro Abaurre ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Martin Tancredo. Martin Tancredo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 20 minutes into the game, Siro Abaurre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Martin Tancredo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tapalquén AFC's Martin Tancredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Aguiar in the 23rd minute of play. Tapalquén AFC's Martin Tancredo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Tapalquén AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute, F.C Barbarians's Carlos Aguiar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Martin Tancredo. Martin Tancredo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. In the 40th minute, Carlos Aguiar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martin Tancredo was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. With an all-out effort, F.C Barbarians's Martin Tancredo threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carlos Aguiar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gianluigi Donnarumma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Rocio, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Domingo Rocio was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Tapalquén AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fernan Isaio. Martin Tancredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Flores, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domingo Rocio got free with Gianluigi Donnarumma in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tapalquén AFC's Martin Tancredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Aguiar in the 62nd minute of play. Mario Iruinea hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute Carlos Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Tancredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 76 minutes of play, F.C Barbarians's Eduardo Flores made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martin Tancredo was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Aguiar in the 87th minute of play forced Tapalquén AFC's goalkeeper Martin Tancredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Tancredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan Velasco in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute Eduardo Flores shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Tancredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Tancredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siro Abaurre in the 91st minute of the match. Martin Tancredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the F.C Barbarians players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
