The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Javier Urtzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matías Kranevitter, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Argentino de Dominico's goalkeeper Javier Urtzi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Argentino de Dominico's Javier Urtzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matías Suárez in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute Prochnost were awarded a corner. Feliberto Ted went to the cornerflag to take it. Remigio Gonzalez hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Javier Urtzi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Argentino de Dominico defense, Matías Kranevitter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Javier Urtzi. The Argentino de Dominico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Javier Urtzi should have stopped the shot. 33 minutes into the match, Argentino de Dominico's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Ted came free, but Javier Urtzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute of the match Prochnost got a corner. Argentino de Dominico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Feliberto Ted ran over to the corner to take the kick.
