F.C Barbarians's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cochequingán FC the free kick. After 19 played minutes F.C Barbarians got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Bibiano. Gianluigi Donnarumma made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Celestino Millrick sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Cochequingán FC's Gianluigi Donnarumma threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Felix Odol, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Felix Odol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gianluigi Donnarumma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eliseo Gumaro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marciano Quirce was the one to do the kick off. Gianluigi Donnarumma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Odol in the 52nd minute of play. Valério Hoffmann kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Cochequingán FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of F.C Barbarians:s goal. Eduardo Flores shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The crowd rose to their feet as F.C Barbarians's Alan Velasco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eliseo Gumaro. That made the score 0-1 after 60 minutes of play. 66 minutes into the match, Cochequingán FC's goalkeeper Eliseo Gumaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eduardo Flores. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Velasco in the 68th minute of play forced Cochequingán FC's goalkeeper Eliseo Gumaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serafino Rufo hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After 72 played minutes Cochequingán FC got a freekick which was hit by Serafino Rufo.
