Dalmacio Ponc started the match with the kick off. Julián Álvarez charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julián Álvarez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julián Álvarez in the 6th minute of play forced Deportivo Iguazu's goalkeeper Yngve Ödman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 8 minutes Deportivo Iguazu's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Norino Rapino who took care of the corner kick. The audience was convinced that Federico Salvatore's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yngve Ödman was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. In the 17th minute Julián Álvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yngve Ödman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Federico Salvatore in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yngve Ödman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yngve Ödman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Salvatore in the 34th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Andres Martxel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roman Bazkoare during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Roman Bazkoare hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Federico Salvatore in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yngve Ödman saved Deportivo Iguazu from getting behind. When Federico Salvatore, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 40 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Yngve Ödman was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Jeronimo Walme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

In the 53rd minute CATRE were awarded a corner. Norino Rapino went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Norino Rapino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Yngve Ödman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 62 played minutes CATRE got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Hurko. In the 67th minute, Dalmacio Ponc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 宋岩国 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yngve Ödman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yaşar Orkun in the 74th minute of play. Yngve Ödman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yaşar Orkun went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Yngve Ödman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Luke in the 79th minute of the match. With his leg Yngve Ödman managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when CATRE's Federico Salvatore fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Federico Salvatores short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Yngve Ödman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Siro Ado came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the CATRE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Siro Ado couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Deportivo Iguazu booed when CATRE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Ado didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julián Álvarez got free with Yngve Ödman in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 96th minute, Federico Salvatore left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CATRE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. When the match was over CATRE could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Deportivo Iguazu throughout the match.
