He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Medrano AFC reached it. With his leg Guto Taffarel managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Medrano AFC's Krzysztof Bara fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Medrano AFC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Luis Matxin hit a great ball. Dawid Juzda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 25 minutes of play, charatas's Armando Jaunzuria made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Humberto Naike was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 27 minutes, Rogelio Quinito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Medrano AFC and the charatas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rogelio Quinito kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Humberto Naike didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armando Jaunzuria went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 37thth minute of the game Dawid Juzda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Medrano AFC's Humberto Naike was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Medrano AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mateo Santo was slow to take the kick. During this time charatas's players had a chance to rest. Mateo Santo made a great header on charatas's corner, it was just that Medrano AFC's Humberto Naike managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rogelio Quinito got free with Guto Taffarel in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 45 minutes into the match, charatas's goalkeeper Guto Taffarel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Krzysztof Bara. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

After a rather tough play, charatas's Armando Jaunzuria got a free kick in the 61st minute. After some careless play in the charatas defense, Rogelio Quinito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guto Taffarel. The charatas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guto Taffarel should have stopped the shot. Humberto Naike made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Dawid Juzda sent off a good shot on target. In the 66th match minute, Medrano AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Matxin to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Mateo Santo took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Humberto Naike to make any attempt to save it. Guto Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krzysztof Bara, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Medrano AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Armando Jaunzuria scored to the left of an out of position Humberto Naike, making the score, 1-4. Humberto Naike showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Santo, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After some careless play in the charatas defense, Krzysztof Bara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guto Taffarel. The charatas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guto Taffarel should have stopped the shot. Dawid Juzda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Humberto Naike made a huge save. Cecilio Botello kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. When Mateo Santo came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the charatas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateo Santo couldn't finish the play. charatas's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
