A sloppy throw-in by Oscar Valery in the 15th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FORTALESE's Melchor Oso. Camilo Richie made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Dawid Juzda sent off a good shot on target. 21 minutes into the match, FORTALESE's goal looked a bit too open when Carlton Fowler came free, but Camilo Richie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 played minutes charatas got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Handi. Camilo Richie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dawid Juzda in the 25th minute. charatas's Guto Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Ferman in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlton Fowler in the 29th minute of play forced FORTALESE's goalkeeper Camilo Richie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. charatas's Guto Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Ekain in the 32nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FORTALESE's zone, Orlando Handi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Richie came out of the goal and Orlando Handi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 38 minutes into the game, Hariharan Jagur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. charatas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FORTALESE the free kick. After 38 played minutes charatas got a freekick which was hit by Hariharan Jagur. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Mateo Santo took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Camilo Richie to make any attempt to save it. Camilo Richie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlton Fowler, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Fidel Ekain made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, charatas's Carlton Fowler made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Camilo Richie was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Conrado Gonzalez fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored charatas's protests and gave Conrado Gonzalez a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FORTALESE booed when charatas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Gonzalez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute, Conrado Gonzalez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fidel Ekain in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guto Taffarel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fidel Ekain's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Guto Taffarel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 59 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when FORTALESE's Fidel Ekain fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 61st minute, Maximo Ekain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the game, charatas's Mateo Santo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Camilo Richie made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 66th minute of the match Mateo Santo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Camilo Richie skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arturo Diegotxe during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FORTALESE getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Melchor Oso hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, FORTALESE's goal looked a bit too open when Carlton Fowler came free, but Camilo Richie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hariharan Jagur kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Lisandro Medero's late challenge caught a charatas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lisandro Medero didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, charatas's Mateo Santo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Carlton Fowler's late challenge caught a FORTALESE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlton Fowler helped the player get up and apologised. When Fidel Ekain came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the FORTALESE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fidel Ekain couldn't finish the play. A throw-in in the 90th minute of the game was made by Oscar Valery with Orlando Handi as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Camilo Richie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlton Fowler in the 93rd minute of play. Camilo Richie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlton Fowler, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. charatas walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
