Spectators: 7242 (Terracing: 5667, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 75) Atlético Matorrales's Tadeo Quilino started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A.SANTA ROSA's goalkeeper Freddy Beliran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Matorrales's zone, Leonardo Corderun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Loco came out of the goal and Leonardo Corderun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 15 minutes into the game, Tadeo Quilino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Freddy Beliran. Tadeo Quilino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 22ndth minute of the game Tadeo Quilino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A.SANTA ROSA's Freddy Beliran was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Atlético Matorrales were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after C.A.SANTA ROSA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Iker Tino took the corner. After 26 minutes C.A.SANTA ROSA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Iker Tino who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Atlético Matorrales's corner Iker Tino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Freddy Beliran quite easily take care of the ball. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A.SANTA ROSA's goalkeeper Freddy Beliran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zeledon Evangelista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Leonardo Loco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. C.A.SANTA ROSA's Freddy Beliran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Ebardo in the 41st minute of play. After some careless play in the C.A.SANTA ROSA defense, Tadeo Quilino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Freddy Beliran. The C.A.SANTA ROSA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Freddy Beliran should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Leonardo Corderun made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeo Quilino in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Freddy Beliran saved C.A.SANTA ROSA from getting behind. Freddy Beliran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tadeo Quilino's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Freddy Beliran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Quilino in the 54th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Atlético Matorrales's Tadeo Quilino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Freddy Beliran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Tadeo Quilino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Freddy Beliran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Quilino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iker Tino lost his temper 68 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 73rd match minute, Atlético Matorrales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeo Quilino to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Tadeo Quilino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Freddy Beliran was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. In the 78th minute Tadeo Quilino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Beliran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Tadeo Quilino put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Freddy Beliran. 7-0 became the score in the 82nd minute when Tadeo Quilino elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Atlético Matorrales were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of C.A.SANTA ROSA for a fine match.
