Maximo Ekain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FORTALESE's Camilo Richie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Ubendu in the 6th minute of play. Tomás Abaurre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Ekain in the 7th minute of the match. In the 12th match minute, EL FRANCIS ... was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocencio Mikelar to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Fidel Ekain put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tomás Abaurre. 19 minutes into the game, Anselmo Veremundo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. EL FRANCIS ...'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FORTALESE the free kick. Anselmo Veremundo kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Fidel Ekain had several of the EL FRANCIS ...'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 20 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Tomás Abaurre as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 26 played minutes EL FRANCIS ... got a freekick which was hit by Domingo Rufio. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fidel Ekain in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomás Abaurre saved EL FRANCIS ... from getting behind. If Melchor Oso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, FORTALESE's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Rufio came free, but Camilo Richie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomás Abaurre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Ekain in the 33rd minute of play. With his leg Tomás Abaurre managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when FORTALESE's Fidel Ekain fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Bibiano in the 36th minute of play forced EL FRANCIS ...'s goalkeeper Tomás Abaurre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Fidel Ekain reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tomás Abaurre. The goal made the score 3-0. FORTALESE's Florentino Elija got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FORTALESE's Camilo Richie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inocencio Mikelar in the 45th minute of play. Tomás Abaurre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Ekain in the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Inocencio Mikelar was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes, Fidel Ekain mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FORTALESE and the EL FRANCIS ... players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 51st minute, Fidel Ekain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Fidel Ekain managed to get in a good position for a shot. FORTALESE's supporters rose to their feet, but Fidel Ekain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomás Abaurre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in EL FRANCIS ...'s zone, Fidel Ekain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Abaurre came out of the goal and Fidel Ekain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute, Melchor Oso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FORTALESE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Tomás Abaurre didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maximo Ekain went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. When Maximo Ekain came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the FORTALESE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximo Ekain couldn't finish the play. Fidel Ekain blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomás Abaurre having to make a save. Fidel Ekain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Abaurre having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, Melchor Oso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Tomás Abaurre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 79 minutes, Fidel Ekain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FORTALESE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fidel Ekain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st minute, Eusebio Ferman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 82 minutes, Melchor Oso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FORTALESE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melchor Oso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. EL FRANCIS ...'s Anselmo Veremundo got his second yellow card of the match in the 83rd minute. The referee ordered Anselmo Veremundo off the ground. In the 84th match minute, EL FRANCIS ... was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Veremundo to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to EL FRANCIS ... getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Domingo Rufio hit a great ball. Tomás Abaurre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Ekain in the 89th minute of the match. Domingo Rufio charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Domingo Rufio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd minute, Domingo Rufio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FORTALESE's Fidel Ekain got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FORTALESE fully deserved thier win.
