Leonardo Corderuns short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Everardo Sanson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Ceci Basket Ball Club's Fabio Rencio got a free kick in the 38th minute. 43 minutes into the game, Claudio Petri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A.SANTA ROSA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ceci Basket Ball Club the free kick. After 43 played minutes C.A.SANTA ROSA got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Petri. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
