Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tadeo Quilino in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guto Taffarel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Diego Leocadio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. charatas's Guto Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Quilino in the 43rd minute of play. Cleto Reno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Loco having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlton Fowler made a kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Tadeo Quilino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but charatas's Guto Taffarel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rosendo Montel kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match.
