Kazimierz Drugi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruud Gullit in the 7th minute of the match. Club Empalme Graneros's Goel Keep played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Xuereb in the 9th minute of play. Kazimierz Drugi was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Ruud Gullit capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ruud Gullit really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 17th minute Ruud Gullit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kazimierz Drugi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Goel Keep showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateo Cutberto in the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Cutberto in the 21st minute of play forced Club Empalme Graneros's goalkeeper Goel Keep to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Mateo Dalmu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, MegaDeth's Kazimierz Drugi got control of the ball when Gaudencio Urbasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, MegaDeth's goal looked a bit too open when Ruud Gullit came free, but Kazimierz Drugi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club Empalme Graneros! The referee gave MegaDeth a penalty, 31 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Yetkiner Hidayettin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Club Empalme Graneros's Goel Keep. 1-1. 35 minutes into the match, Mateo Cutberto notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Club Empalme Graneros's Goel Keep. Goel Keep was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Americo Bernebe charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Americo Bernebe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to MegaDeth getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Americo Bernebe hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Cipriano Lorien ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Goel Keep was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Goel Keep didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miguel Xuereb went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. After the first half MegaDeth were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaudencio Urbasa to make the kick off. Goel Keep showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Lorien, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. A collision led to Club Empalme Graneros getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Uriel Pagomari hit a great ball. If Mateo Cutberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Cipriano Lorien left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MegaDeth fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. Uriel Pagomari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80thth minute of the game Gaudencio Urbasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MegaDeth's Kazimierz Drugi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, MegaDeth's Americo Bernebe got a free kick in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the match, Miguel Xuereb dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Goel Keep, 1-7. Gaudencio Urbasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kazimierz Drugi having to interfere. The MegaDeth supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing MegaDeth would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
